At AYSO Region 214 in South Pasadena and San Marino, California, volunteers manage more than 28 soccer fields across seven or eight locations for nearly 1,800 young players. The robot’s tablet interface makes setup intuitive, letting volunteers drag and drop field templates onto a Google satellite image, adjust for muddy areas, and start painting in minutes. What once took hours of measuring and manual lining now happens automatically — with precision and consistency every time.
The benefits have been huge. The region has cut material costs by two-thirds and dramatically reduced the labor needed to maintain fields. Instead of spending weekends repainting, volunteers can focus on what really matters — coaching and creating a great soccer experience for local kids. Parents and players alike have noticed the difference, with cleaner, sharper field lines week after week.
