Lincoln Charter School, North Carolina
Success Story
Lincoln Charter offers fifty one teams in a variety of sports. So for me, it keeps us always our plates full with teams going all the time. For me, in regards to what we manage, there’s always basically a two shift operation. So the tiny robot really was part of a time saver, helping me be more efficient in our operations.
Now we’re a small school without a facilities manager, and a lot of times my coaches are responsible for teaching classes. So they also didn’t have time each day to go out and paint the field for us to be ready for that game as it would come. And The main thing that I wanted to do is be able to take that stress away from, selfishly, myself, but also my coaches and knowing that we were gonna have our fields ready in a better looking field in a shorter amount of time. So each season, we would have to hire a special company to come out, measure and linear fields for us.
Basically, because I was wanting a better look than just me and my coaches could do. They would use our aerosol cans just to continue to try to maintain those lines and those points of reference throughout the rest of the season. And so we were able to to save that money basically by TinyMobileRobotssoftware is as simple as pulling up my tablet, clicking on I wanna paint soccer lines and as long as it’s got the right paint in the machine, it’s gonna run off and paint. I looked at two different types of robots to come out here and paint.
When we were looking to see what would be a perfect fit for Lincoln Charter School, the features of the tiny robot really made the best fit, primarily because it was lightweight, it was easier to set up, and I was so much more comfortable with this operating system and the tablet to be able to set up and choose which fields I wanted to paint. I love the opportunity for being that it is truly mobile. It allows me to go out and and paint not only our fields but other fields in the communities, and I feel good about that. Even though this is robot and you’re talking about pulling signals down from a GPS system, this is really super easy to run.
It’s one of the easiest tools that we have and that I use during the day. I would actually put this right up for rather scoreboard controllers. Right? Once you’re pushing buttons and telling it what field to paint, then we’re good to go.
I’ve gotten my head sunburned a lot less with theTinyMobileRobot. Right? I can put fresh paint in and then set the machine to go and the robot’s out painting and I’m sitting over on the players benches in the shade answering emails or doing other types of work. So it’s so much more efficient and productive for me.
